Hey everyone,

I got this problem a month ago, and today I decided to finally find a fix for it. Working with iTunes all the time for my music collection, and using Mixed in Key for key information on songs, MIK was writing the key to the comment field of the mp3 file. Then I was importing the file into iTunes : impossible to get the comment field right.

Here is the fix:

In iTunes you can right click the songs and choose Convert ID3 tags and choose v2.3 for the best compatibility. Then the tags should be written to the file for other applications to see. [source]

Apply this fix on your files in iTunes, then, analyze them with MIK after that.

Hope that it will help you!
